On November 4, CIHR's Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) held its fourth roundtable breakfast called 'Spotlight on Canada: Women in Science, Technology and Trades.' The point of the event, which was held at Place Bell building in Ottawa, was to focus on Canada's action plans to fully integrate women into science, engineering, technology, trades and research agendas. Guest speakers included: Dr. Arthur Carty, National Science Advisor to the Prime Minister and Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour from the Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology.
