Fellowship: KT Priority Announcement

The KSE branch will fund fellowships to advance KT science: increasing understanding of the theory and practice of knowledge translation including the development of measures to evaluate the effectiveness and/or impact of KT tools, instruments, and interventions.

Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: Knowledge Translation

The KSE branch will provide partial support for workshops, symposia and conferences, which either support KT research, contribute to building networks or researcher-user collaborations or knowledge exchange.

Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: End of Grant Knowledge Translation Supplement

The Knowledge Synthesis and Exchange branch will provide supplemental funding for KT activities at the end of a CIHR grant when it is appropriate to disseminate the results of the research beyond the traditional scientific community and using methods supplementary to and in addition to publication in peer reviewed journals.

Synthesis Grant: Knowledge Translation

This funding opportunity will support teams of researchers and decision makers to produce knowledge syntheses and scoping reviews. So that these projects contribute to the use of synthesized evidence in decision-making, proposals will require strong partnerships with decision makers and well-developed knowledge translation strategies

Knowledge to Action

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to build and strengthen teams engaged in knowledge translation (KT) at the community, regional, provincial or federal level by funding KT and implementation activities or researchers and decision makers/knowledge users.

Health Research Communication Award

By increasing the number of Canadian engaged in communicating the results of health research in a variety of formats, CIHR hopes to raise the level of understanding of health related issues and research among a variety of audiences, including the general public, health professionals and policy makers. It is expected that this targeted investment will lead to more effective communication of health research in Canada.

Knowledge Translation Award

The CIHR Knowledge Translation Award honours and supports the exemplary knowledge translation efforts and activities of an exceptional individual, team or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to: increasing the application of research findings; improving the health of Canadians, health services and products; or strengthening the health-care system.
